Goofy – Eine komische Historie

Goofy – Eine komische Historie ist eine Comicserie, in der Goofy jeweils die Rolle einer Figur der Geschichten oder auch die einer fiktiven Persönlichkeit der Vergangenheit einnimmt.

In dieser 4-Reihigen Comicserie erlebt Goofy die Abenteuer verschiedener, historisch bedeutender Persönlichkeiten (siehe Das große Goofy Album). Mit dieser Reihe wollte Ehapa wohl an die Erfolge von Asterix und Lucky Luke anknüpfen. Dafür sprechen z.B. die oft vorhandene Kurzinformation am Ende des Bandes, wie auch bei Lucky Luke üblich. In manchen Ausgaben wird Goofy von Micky begleitet. Auch andere Charaktere aus den Disney Comics finden Verwendung, wie Kater Karlo oder Klarabella Kuh. Teilweise besteht die vorkommende Bevölkerung aber auch nur aus „Goofys“. Die Comics sind durch die Schusseligkeit Goofys geprägt. Sie zielen darauf auf eine lustige Art und Weise Wissen an jüngere Generationen zu vermitteln.

In Deutschland erschien die Reihe von 1977 bis 1987 in den 30 Alben von „Das große Goofy Album“. 2006 bis 2010 wurden die Comics mit zuvor unveröffentlichten Geschichten in der achtbändige Comicreihe „Goofy – Eine komische Historie“ publiziert. Ausgewählte Geschichten der Reihe erschienen zusätzlich 2017 in zwei „Lustiges Taschenbuch präsentiert“-Bänden.

Für die brasilianische Veröffentlichung in der Reihe „Pateta faz História como“ wurden jeweils zwei Geschichten in einer Ausgabe veröffentlicht und über eine neue Rahmengeschichte miteinander verbunden. Diese verläuft ähnlich wie die italienische Comicserie „Mittwochs bei Goofy“: Micky besucht Goofy, welcher die absurden Geschichten der historischen oder fiktiven Figuren erzählt.
